Realme 8 pro Appraisal: A Prodigious Buyer Appealing Handset

Realme 8 Pro is the bizarre handset that money can get.  However, the Realme isn’t presently a big name on the Western side. If it continues giving out handsets like the Realme 8 Pro, we can’t view that enduring the condition for much lengthier.  It’s a fanciful handset, and it is also the phone which the brands like Nokia, Redmi, and Motorola should take notice of. Though Realme 8 Pro is the recent handset that was unveiled together with standard Realme 8 in the early months of 2021. It is probable to be the top reasonable handset announced by the brand in China. Price-wise it is the most inexpensive decent looking handset. Appearance-wise the Realme 8 Pro doesn’t even give a feel of a cheap handset as it belongs to a reasonable selling price.

The Realme 8Pro comes with a fantastic-high resolution primary snapper and high-speed charging. Its design is also attractive and appealing. Though, our preferred feature of the handset is its design. Simultaneously, many low-price handsets are comparatively dense, difficult to grip by one hand, and covered in cut-rate-looking plastic. Contrary to them, the Realme 8 Pro is slim, simply hold-able, and keeps a beautiful rear finishing effect. It is also probably one of the top reasonable camera handsets on the marketplace.  Thanks to the absence of a small chunk to the primary snapper with its enormous 108MP resolution. It takes excellent high-resolution shots that offer you good options for following cropping and editing.

The phone offers you a fast charging of 50W that charges up the battery in almost no time of any kind—this power-up the phone much faster than many other reasonable handsets. The battery can last for one day easily. There are no sections in which this handset is suggestively feebler than its rivals. Though where it offers excellent specs, it also comes with minor deficiencies.  It lacks wireless charging and 5G accessibility. The silicone cover that arrives with handsets is so snug which feels difficult to get on the handset.  But these are minor errors that the user may overlook. Overall the handset is premium for the price. Further down, you will get the detailed specs of these handsets.

Enactment and Features

  • 720G Snapdragon chipset
  • 8GB RAM

The Realme 8 Pro comes with the middle-range 720G Snapdragon processor combined with RAM of 8GB. Thus, it’s not precisely a handling dynamo, but it is not a slow chipset for working at all. We found it a good processor during our testing to run all types of games and open up all sorts of apps. We did not find any problem while playing games and browsing the web. While scrolling the Twitter feeds and streaming videos, it did not shutter or lag for a while. So, we can say it is the top-handset coming at a reasonable price.

Realme 8 Pro Cost and Obtainability

  • Available in the UK and all around the world
  • Not available in the US and Australia
  • May come to Australia
  • Prices at AU$500 / £279 / $390

The Realme 8 Pro has been unveiled in most states around the realm comprising the UK. However, it is not coming to Australia or the US. The Realme doesn’t retail its products in these regions, so we don’t suppose to have them there. But it’s Australian unveil may be thinkable. The handset prices at just £279, which translates to about AU$500 / $390. This price tag places it in what we’d approximately name the ‘premium economical’ class. For some settings, the Xiaomi Poco X3 NFC with 128GB storage and the Moto G9 Plus both price at £250 (about AU$460 or $325). However, they’re debatably the Realme 8 Pro’s contiguous opponents.

Realme 8 Pro Design and Display

  • Plastic body with nice finishing
  • ‘’Ready to Leap” slogan embedded on the rear
  • AMOLED 6.4 inches screen
  • Resolution: 1080 x 2400p
  • 60Hz refresh rate
  • In-display fingerprint scanner

However, it’s not a tiny handset, but the Realme 8 Pro seems relatively compact when related to its opponents. But that’s an outrageous thing for folks who don’t need a giant smartphone. It’s comparatively shrill and light and has a slighter build than we’re familiar with. However, the phone has a plastic build. But with a surfaced coating that both seems and feels superior to the ‘usual’ plastic back. The back of the phone comes with the words ‘Dare to Leap’, the company’s slogan is quite large capital alphabets.  Though some may feel it dazzling, or some may not bother it.

The phone keeps a 3.5mm earphone jack for audio connections and a USB-C port to transfer data or power up the handset. The Realme 8 Pro’s display is 6.4-inches that makes it a bit slighter than most other price handset. It’s disturbed by a blow-hole pattern for the selfie snapper at the upper left corner. The display comes with a resolution of 1080 x 2400p that is quite usual for any handset. However, the collection offers you a standard refresh rate of 60Hz that is usually standard for the phone at this cost tag. The Realme 8 Pro comes with an in-display fingerprint sensor that works well to unlock the handset.

The Realme 8 Pro lands with a 108MP primary camera combine with an 8MP ultra-wide lens, 2MP macro lens, 2MP depth sensor. For selfies, you will get a 20MP selfie snapper on the front side. The primary camera of Realme 8 Pro impressed us a lot. In good light settings, the photos appeared promising, with high aspect and fair divergence. Though, it was the situation for landscapes and zoom subjects too. Due to high resolution, you can easily download decent photos and edit them into your computer easily. The ultra-wide snapper also does well, though colors appeared strikingly diverse than on the primary camera. We truly favored the color contour of ultra-wide shots, as they seem pretty rich than others. The other two cameras are just fine. The macro camera of 2MP is practically useless.  The Realme 8 Pro offers digital zoom up to 20x, but pictures get noisy at this range. Though the photos taken at 5x zoom were okay. The selfie snapper of 20MP is impressive. It can take bright selfies with details. The handset offers you a 4K video recording at 30fps or 1080p at 60fps.

Realme 8 Pro Battery Life

  • 4500mAh battery
  • 50W fast charging
  • No wireless charging

The Realme 8 Pro offers a battery of 4,500mAh, and we got the handset standby for one whole day.  Even if we were heading for a bit of photoshoot, video recording, or playing games, it could easily last for a day. Though, it is unlikely to go for another day’s use until your usage is too light. The phone offers you a snappy 50W, and it takes less than 60 minutes to refill the handset from empty to 100%. However, you will not get wireless charging here. But its fast charging feature impresses us a lot.

Conclusion

The Realme 8 Pro is the perfect handset coming with high mid-range specs at an affordable price tag. Coming with fantastic fast charging and long-lasting battery, 8GB RAM, and high-quality camera, we can recommend it to anyone. But if you want Wireless charging and a 5G enabled handset, you should visit the market in this regard. For the price tag, it can be the user’s first choice.
