After being unveiled in December 2020 in China, this flagship got a global launch in March 2021. Therefore, the Vivo X60 and X60 Pro are probably just about to sell soon, but we don’t get exact about it as they are not available globally yet, so we just got their price tag of China. You can also see translations of the costs further down. In comparison, they may not be precise for the ultimate release.

The Vivo X60 will land in three models. The one has 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage for around £400, $540, and AU$700. Simultaneously, the second one has 8GB RAM with 256GB of model for bumpily £430, $580, and AU$760. Lastly, a 12GB RAM / 256GB of storage model for about £450, $610, and AU$780. But the Vivo Pro is only one model with the same storage and RAM as the costliest standard model.  Its prices bumpily £510, $690, AU$910.

Vivo X60 Lineup Design and Display

  • 6.56 inches AMOLED screen
  • FHD Plus resolution
  • 120Hz refresh rate
  • Vivo X60 has flat, X60 Pro has warped display

The Vivo X60 seems quite similar to its precursor Vivo X51. It remarkably resembles the back with a closely same quadrangular camera format conquered by a large primary camera. Simultaneously, the Vivo X60 Pro model is somewhat different in this respect, with an additional rear lens covering the unit. The significant design change is on the front display. As a forward-facing camera, a ‘blow-hole pattern in the font collection isn’t on the upper-left of the presentation but the upper center. Vivo claims the X60 is the shrillest 5G handset ever, at least a period of the announcement. It also states that it has just a 7.36mm thick frame of body. That is undoubtedly a pretty shrill phone.

The Vivo X60 is available in three color variants: dual-tone blue, black and white. In contrast, the Vivo X60 Pro comes in black and blue colors. Both of these handsets come with 6.56 inches AMOLED screen like many other premium handsets. This display offers FHD Plus resolution with a 120Hz screen refresh rate. The one significant difference between the Vivo X60 and Vivo X60 Pro displays. The Pro version comes with a warped display, while the standard X60 offers a plan to display. Though, the curvy display looks more premium than the flat one.

Cameras

  • X60: Triple rear snapper, X60 Pro: Four rear snappers
  • X60 rear: 48MP main, 13MP Ultra-wide, 13MP portrait lens
  • X60 Pro rear: 48MP main, 13MP ultra-wide, 13MP portrait, 8MP periscope lens

The Vivo X60 comes with triple back snappers: a 48MP leading, 13MP ultra-wide lens, and 13MP ‘portrait’ camera. This 13MP portrait snapper can take 2x optical zoom shots. Though, the X60 Pro keeps the same snappers with an extra 8MP periscope shooter. This 8MP periscope lens is proficient in taking 5x optical zoom shots. The main snapper has image stabilization ability with an incorporated gimbal effect. Though, we get this feature first in X51 and now in the X60 lineup.

Though, it allows the sensor tangibly move to respond to trembling hands when you’re taking a shot or recording a video. It also offers excellent videography effects and mode as Vivo is guaranteed to boaster in the X60 launching event. There’s also a 21:9 mode for recording in that movielike feature ratio in addition to a ‘Movie Touch Filter.’ Though this feature seemingly duplicates the appearance of anamorphic cameras used in making movies. This lineup also offers subtitles and stereophonic audio recording mode.

Specs and Performance

  • Snapdragon 870 chipset
  • 5G enabled
  • RAM: 8GB/12GB
  • Storage: 128GB/256GB

Before launching in China, the Vivo declared that this lineup would power with Samsung’s Exynos 1080 chipset. But a significant change occurs here in the chipset as the Snapdragon 870 processor motorizes both the Vivo X60 Pro and X60. However, this chipset is precisely premium but not the very high-end chipset out there. This premium chipset ensures future-proof 5G connectivity. Thus, both handsets use the succeeding generation of the android network. We can guess both of these handsets will prove beast performance-wise as they offer high RAM and premium processors.

Battery Life

  • Vivo X60: 4300mAh battery
  • Vivo X60 Pro: 4200mah battery
  • 33W wired fast charging

The Vivo X60 comes with a 4,300mAh battery, but that turns down to a 4,200mAh battery. Though we’ll get how long these power banks stay when we find the handsets in for analysis. But provided the volume and display size, we’d guess a day bumpily. Both of these handsets offer 33W fast wired charging. But wireless charging is absent in both handsets.
