The PlayStation 5 is Sony’s next-generation console. Its price is $499.99 \/ \u00a3449.99 \/ AU$749.95 and available now in selective markets, i.e., the US and Japan from November 12, 2020, and November 19, 2020, across the globe, including the UK. Sony is also launching a Digital Edition of the console, which replaces the disc drive and costs $399.99 \/ \u00a3359.99 \/ AU$599.95.<\/p>\n

Its antecedent, PS 4, is one of the most modern gaming consoles of all time. Sony sold over 110 million units up to May 2020. PS 2 is the only home gaming console to exceed those numbers, selling over 150 million units in its lifetime.<\/p>\n
